ABOUT AKN DRESSAGE

Hi Loves! My name is Ava! I'm the runner of the crazy AKN circus. AKN Dressage was started after I got my heart & dream horse Imago JSF, affectionately known as 'Auggie,' 'Auggie Dog,' 'Doggie,' & so many more. He has been the light in my life as I wiggle my way through my teenage years. Life with Auggie is something special. He strives to put a smile on my face each and every day. He loves me unconditionally, as I do to him. I would not be on this earth if it were not for him. He has hung on to me through my darkest moments, dug me out of holes I didn’t want to leave, and became my best friend in the entire world & universe. He is the reason I grew my astounding Instagram community of over 4,100 people & met friends for an absolute lifetime. Auggie & I, unfortunately, had a delayed start to our competitive riding partnership. In early 2020, all through mid-2022, he was rehabbing from torn ligaments, emergency surgeries, and everything in between. In that time that Auggie was down, I had the opportunity to meet & ride some incredible horses. One being Jack, a draft/paint cross, that I took through the FEI Junior journey. Jack went from Intro to FEI in just over a year. Something no one would ever expect from him. Then, in June of 2023, I brought Gucci into the family. Gucci is a 13 year old KWPN originally from the Netherlands. Gucci is teaching me the ropes of all of the upper levels & most recently took me to NAYC & FOC. A horse I'd never imagined I'd have the opportunity to lay my hands on let alone ride, train, and compete.  I'm looking forward to the adventures my horses take me on and continuing my education.
